I am on the last day of my vacation and a,m, enjoying "doctor enduced" light trails--wooohooooo. Eye appointment with pupil dialation. The doctor was in his 30's and knew immediately, dispite my disquise that I was in my 50's when my head went in that brace gizmo and the light was panning across my eyeball and I asked him to go slower...followed by lots of ooohhsss and ahhhhhs.

True, Mis, it sounds petty. I am still getting one so I shouldn't *****. Technically it is a bonus, but really it's just the nebulous part of our salary that we receive depending on how well, poor or average the year went.
Re: tailgating-I'd usually have to run laps! Like I said, at least the kid will be there so the beer temptation will be held in check.
When I got my eyes checked last month they had a new computer/camera thingy which was offered as an alternative to the dialation. The Optometrist says it gives a far wider, clearer and detailed picture of the innards of the eye plus you don't need to get dialated. The next time around you ought to check it out.
The damn glaucoma test gets me every time. The first little blast blows my head back 3' from the brace. Eye stuff just bothers me. |
