Follow up...

Got to the site, found that the fork-lift wouldn't start, had to "rent" a fork for $395/3-hour, minimum, got back to the site, parts arrived as the fork did.

Got the stuff off-loaded and got the two guys back on their way home - unrapped the items, then left.

Got back in time to pick up the wife/son, dropped them off and headed to the other broken Xmtr. ... kicked it around and headed out ... will be spending more time with it in a few minutes...

Weekends ... for the unemployed and non-contractors ...

Will be spending the day w/a pair of Pittsburgh Steelers fans...I'll find out if THEY caught the GB/D game last night...

Rogers did OK, Romo/Owens amazed the masses as usual...Favre is the question for 10 days down the road...

It's going to be a l-o-n-g day...

Yay Dallas! At least folks at work (and hopefully in traffic) will be in a good mood!

Busy weekend (at least for the daughter)...watched her play basketball at school last night. Tonight, it's indoor soccer. Tomorrow she rehearses with the regional band and performs in a concert.

She seems to like it busy...I worry about a meltdown!

Going to make a stab at finishing the Christmas presents I have begun making this year. Hopefully, I'll be able to give them Christmas 2007 NOT 2008!

Tomorrow I'm hoping to get the gaskets for my sunroof replaced on the 300TD, mulch up the ten billion leaves in my yard, and run a few errands. Sunday's for goofing off . . .

I'm going to be kids' partied out by the end of the weekend. Son #2's birthday is today and we've got a friends party for him tonight. Tomorrow is the combination #1 & #2 sons' family party and then Sunday is son #2's friends party. #2's birthday is today and #1's is on Sunday. Dad is going to be hiding in the basement next to the refridgerator often! ;)

You'll be looking forward to going back to work on Monday, just for the rest!

No we understand, parenting is not an easy job and from what you have posted in the past Swamp, your a really good father and husband.
