*** Oh My GAWD! ***

Today, I'll be picking up the STBXW (Soon-To-Be-Ex-Wife) & son and drop them off at the railroad depot to AMTRACK them to her parent's/brother's place in Bloomington, IL. for the coming week. Then, I'm heading north to Menomonie (Me, No Money!), to get the upper ball-joints replaced on the Benz...when that's finished, then I'll heading out to the transmitter site, slalom the Benz around 36-cows-worth of poop, check out the work the electricians should have completed, slalom back around those 36-cows-worth of poop in the darker dark, then head for Chula Vista Resort in the Dells to chaperone a bunch of teenagers for the next two nights...

If that doesn't drive (pardon the inappropriate pun) you to drink...nothin' will!

You have a busy weekend ahead of you, MG. Good luck with all of that.

I'm trying to catch up on all the paperwork I couldn't get done earlier in the week. Then I'm just looking forward to our Benz buddies GTG at Johnhef's this weekend. Hopefully, the parts I ordered for Maxwell will get here today and I can get those put on tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about the marriage, MBurg.:(

I am off to go take out a few of Bot's ducks. Ya'll have fun.

Cheney turkey hunts down here every year. Usually with Antonin Scalia.

Dee8go 11-16-2007 01:01 PM

Has Scalia handed down some decisions contrary to the administration's wishes recently?

"Hey, Dick," says Dubya, "that Scalia fella's like a burr in my saddle. I want yew ta take him on yer turkey hunt . . . . "

Flying Sunday then hanging with my Benz Buddies for the first annual "Benz Turkey Fest" in Merryland.

Dee8go 11-16-2007 02:33 PM

Woohoo! The Fed X man just brought my MB parts from Phil. Now I'll have an activity to do tomorrow. Hopefully, now I'll make Maxwell water tight.

John Doe 11-20-2007 08:19 AM

Well, I'm declaring today Friday and taking off the rest of the week. 23 family members at my house begin trickling in tonight, so I have some yard work to do. Have a good one all for whatever holiday you choose to celebrate this week!!!!!:D

Dee8go 11-20-2007 10:16 AM

Will you be serving some duck along with the turkey, JD?

I have two turduckens from Hebert's and two one year old Felt's hams.

Dee8go 11-20-2007 12:44 PM

I thought maybe you had some of Bot's ducks from last weekend.

We're having three sets of couple and their children coming over, so we'll have a nice crowd.

I have the front living room set up with a new 50" 1080p Panasnoic plasma tv, a new saddle brown leather sofa, and three club chairs, all arranged facing the tv.

This room will be for adults only, mainly the men. The women will likely congregate in the kitchen, and the kids will have the run of the family room / den, and the back yard.

We'll start off with appetizers of California roll and steamed gyoza, and I'll probably have a glass of Maker's Mark that I'll be sipping all night long.

Oh it's great to be an American.:)

I've already "checked" the STBEW's (Soon-To-Be-Ex-Wife's) appartment (prior arrangement while she's out of town), got 2.5 hours of sleep, typing this and heading "nort" to the Xmtr. site to meet some other person, who's T-giving weedend is screwed up, and off-load some equipment. Then it will be a "rush" to get back to La Crosse and meet the STBEW and son at the railyard, pick 'em up and deliver them to the apartment. Following that, then I have another Xmtr. I have to finish repairing so that it can be put back on the air...

Then, there's Saturday...

G-Benz 11-23-2007 08:56 AM

Check Engine light in the 07 ML350 dash...at 7500 miles!??? Hmmm...

...guess I'm going to take it to the local dealership instead of shopping (I wouldn't participate in that insanity anyway).

Still have to drive home to Texas...not taking chances!
