Vacation starts at 4:00!!!!

Off for a week of sun and fun with the kids, sandwiched between a couple of son #1's summer ball games. We're going to meet up with a buddy's family in NE MA for a day then spend a couple days in Hampton Beach, NH. Very touristy, very kitschy, very trashy...it's perfect for us. The kids love the wide beach and the water is just cool enough that jellyfish are minimal.

Then towards the end of the week I'm getting that big a$$ dumpster and clearing out my garage, shed, outbuilding and basement so that I can actually use them as a garage, shed, outbuilding and basement. Oh, and I've really got to track down the source of a water spot on the ceiling in my daughter's room. I thought I had found it last winter when I resealed around the chimney flashing but after some heavy rains this week I notice it's still there.

Got my 300E back from the shop and picked up my new contact lens prescription!

Inactive A/C center vent actuators caused by me inadvertently yanking off a vacuum line...most likely due to my ambitious stereo install project...

Was #6 in the sessions this morning...then at 0925.00, officially pronounced unmarried...

So.....

Yesterday, turned 51 (3 x's 17) and today, free...

I just wish I felt like 3 teenagers...full of whatever...

Oh well, I'm still waiting for the mechanic to call me on the $$$ amount for finding the non-start issue w/the 123...maybe before beer-o'clock this afternoon...

Then, the interstate for a tankful of freedom and frivolity...maybe I'll end up in Madison tonight...

Wild town for adults...

WOOHOO! Payday!

Driving back from an "overnight" in Eau Claire...the deer are comin' out of the corn like crazy...geesh! 14 in a two hour drive...I almost felt safer "backing up" all the way home...

Hey, the weekend is full in La Crosse...Irishfest, for those of the "bent-elbow" urge, and there's JazzFest, for those of a "tonal-bent" (All starting today and going through to Sunday!) and on Sunday itself, a little parade in a town just to the east called Bangor...

Full plate and the weather looks to be good enough to wet the 'inards and keep the outers dry.

Have fun in the sun and drive carefully...no one else does!

Geesh! I'm gonna' need another day between today and tomorrow...like Friturday maybe???

Gotta'...

#1.) Meet the tower crew, which got back in town last night...
#2.) Open everything back up for them...
#3.) Go over what needs to be done before the antenna arrives...
#4.) Get ready, then contact, the Conference Call group for an hour of boredom...
#5.) Go pick up the EX's computer from the shop (she lost the registry for the CD-Rom drives) ??????
#6.) Get a new "Y" cable for the LCRP float for this Saturday's KornFest Parade in Holmen...
#7.) Get the Benz over to the body shop for the work and paint before they close for the weekend (31 y.o. paint is fading and needs better) ...
#8.) Get ready for 7.5 hours of carding drunks, near-drunks and underagers for the KornFest Beer Tent (this is only Friday so far...)
#9.) Head home after clearing the "debris" from the Beer Tent, after 0100 Saturday morning...
#10.) Chit, Chower and Chave before crawling into the sack...
#11.) Then...at 0600...get up and get ready for the parade...I have to drive to another county, pick up the float, drag it back to Holmen, then prep it for the parade, which starts at 1100, then after the 1.5 miles of going 1.5mph, drive it back to the staging area, drop off all the participants, scrape off about 2 pounds of melted, partly chewed and/or squished candy (both hard and soft, taffy and chocolate), then drag said float back to its home in another county, then head back to the KornFest grounds for more BeerTent Headbanging Security duty 'til 0100 Sunday morning...

Got milk?

You mean Martha hasn't driven you nuts yet?!?

You're a tougher gal than I am.

This is getting scary- I have some of the videos memorized....

Tomorrow, if it doesn't rain I have a flying lesson scheduled at a new school in a Diamond Eclipse.
