We are on the raod this weekend; first to Indy for a wedding and then to Bloomington, IN to take the youngest to a soccer camp at IU. Driving the E300 since it got fixed. The A/C does not work on the 300D. If it was cooler I would want to take it. I enjoy driving it on the interstate. Such a fine machine.

Headed to a grass strip fly in tomorrow. There is NOTHING more fun with your clothes on than landing a tailwheel airplane on a grass strip. Driving a fast car on the German Autobahn comes close though.

Don't know exactly what the weekend is going to entail, other than me DRIVING!

Finally got the green light from the last doc and Darling Wife yesterday. Passed all hunnert and twelve tests, with the only not-normal (but actually better than expected) finding being a diagnoses of mild sleep apnea (Darling Wife was expecting a higher score based on my snoring and the fact that I don't bother breathing now and then).

I'll be finishing the rewiring of my house tomorrow and figuring out what my next renovation project will be. Was planning to go to an outdoor concert tonight until I noticed the temperature will be shooting past 100 today!

Maybe I'll lie around the pool drinking some adult beverages instead . . . Have a great weekend, all!

Sounds like you've been making some great progress.

I'm working on building 3 brick high extension walls on my basement window wells. After that I'll be able to add more soil and mulch to the flower beds.

I hope to finish it this weekend so I can get started on caulking the windows and painting the trim around them. It should be all finished in plenty of time for this year's Benzfest.

Well....since Memphis is suppose to hit a new record and I'm out of the office early today, I'm going to attempt to make the 87 Champagne AC blow a little colder.

I'm considering wiring the AUX Fan to blow on HIGH Speed instead of LOW speed when the high pressure switch kicks in.....of course, I suspect the high pressure switch doesn't work on this car....so I might temporarily hook up some sort of bypass switch.

I got the AC gauges from the AutoZoo rental program to check the pressure, too. Maybe it's under/over charged.

Ouch! My i Phone weather says it going to hit 106 degrees here tomorrow. I may not be doing much outside, if that's the case. Going to hear a friend's band play in Alexandria tonight. Not sure about the rest of the weekend. I'm just happy to not be having a repeat of LAST weekend!

Depending on source, somewhere between 101 and 106 (actual, not heat index) tomorrow.

What was supposed to be salsa dancing at the Cuban place tonight somehow morphed into 60's rock, couple o'lady friends coming in to join Darling Wife and I for that and 1st Saturday in town tomorrow - which also happens to be Darling Wife's birthday .

Trying to deal with whatever work stuff must be dealt with work wise today, whilst I finish up a certain birthday-centric project on the sly .

Got my left arm out of the splint Tuesday, prohibited from lifting more than a pound (16 oz., how convient!) or two for a week. I'm suppose to "practice lifting and curls" as much as possible.

This sounds like a prescription for trouble.

Well, with the temps in/around 102°-105° and indicies about 10°-15° on top of that (dew points are in the 70s-80s), I'd be nuts to be drinking anything with alcohol in it, let alone being out in the weather all together.

Oh well...I'll just wait on my boat getting its final check-out, then when the heat breaks after this weekend, I'll get her out on the Mississippi and see what a 27yo 140hp MercCruiser is capable of between the locks...

Perhaps you'd best stick to doing a few 12 oz curls . . . .
