My brother lives in Texas and I ran some enduros (dirt bike races) with him in the Sam Houston forest. Some "environmental" people would string barb wire between trees in protest. My brother hit a wire but it caught the bike just below the handlebars. Fortunately he was not seriously injured.

That's f'ed up. There was a big sting a few years back in SC busting perverts soliciting underage minors for sex at rest areas. As I recall, one famous legislator got busted too. If I am forced to stop at a rest area on the way somewhere, I always carry concealed.
