Hey folks...let's hear it for mid-week...a strange one if there ever was...Labor Day is a week further than before and kids are heading back to school, then "vacating" after a few days for two days (Fridays always suck before a Monday off)...

A few B-days are coming up so I'm scratching around for age-specific B-day cards that are a "little caustic" but still a hoot...

Will be doing a conference call w/a law office in D.C. today, then hopefully getting out before 1700 Central.

Enjoy the weather before it gets a bit strange...but hopefully, it doesn't carry "strange" into the weekend! :thumbup1:

its 12.13AM and I am at work....

I think I've settled fully back in after 10 days off with the family. Now I can finally relax. :) Had a great vacation in SC and met several good friends along the way, some for the first time IRL. Most of them were families from some Down syndrome forums we belong to but I popped in on Chad at 10pm just to sample his latest batch of homebrew for his upcoming GTG. His wife was very gracious despite having a lug show up on her doorstep, out of the blue on a damp, dark night. :o

The kids don't start school until next Tuesday. Been busy thusfar this week clothes and supplies shopping, but it's a small price to pay to get them all out of the house! My youngest starts pre-K this year so for one year and one year only we've got all 4 kids in on school.

It'll be our last chance to hit the local during-the-week races so I'm taking my oldest son & a friend of his down to the Waterford Speedbowl for their Wacky Wednesday racing. Boogity, boogity, boogity!

Now that you know the way to Chad's, youll be back for the GTG, right, Swamp? I'm dialing for dollars again today. I hope all of you guys (and gals) have a great day.

Well, we're finally moving forward on a project that's been festering for over 3+ years...updating our microwave system (4 transmitters/4 receivers) to pass digital and eventually, hopefully before the first NFL game of the season, we'll have HD in the Eau Claire-half of our market...as long as all the equipment plays "nice" with each other and I don't experience anymore "infant mortality issues" among the new arrivals...

By Wednesday next week, I'm hoping to have this thing completely wrapped up...

I'm going to the animal shelter to pick out a roommate for my cat tonight....wish me luck.

My parents get home today after their 7 week circumnavigation of the U.S. via camper. Have to stock up the beer fridge and get my mind prepared for hours of recounts of (my father's side) of their escapades. :)

Hopefully he starts to make a habit of these extended break-aways! ;)
