Pulled the wheels and discovered almost no meat on the brake pads...so she doesn't get to drive it until I'm done dialing this car in...

I'm spending the night at my new house tonight, so I can be there to wait around (again) for the Verizon guy to come in the morning. Maybe I'll get some drywall hung while I'm waiting.

Ma actually managed to sleep through until 7:00 this morning, so I got to sleep "late!" :P Got her fed, pottied, pilled, stuck (I'm the appointed shot giver, so she gets to holler at me twice a day), and settled back into bed just in time to haul arse off to work to chair my standing Wednesday morning meeting.....

Usual work stuff so far, distracted by mulling over a really silly cheap piece of oooooolllddd skool woodworking iron that I may pick up on the way home.

Just saw a note on face book that Chickie (aka Barb the Wonderful who is living with us to help take care of Ma) has acquired Guiness, Jamesons, and Bailey's for tonight's dessert, so this evening has potential :D :D :D.

Potential realized!

Bought me a toy on the way home (table top jointer, circa 1953), picked up a hawt red head, and made a quick run to the grab more dirt and some bigger pots so Darling Wife could move her lemon, lime, and avocado trees into bigger digs. Who doesn't love hawt red heads with power tools?

Hi- Hope everyone is doing well. I can't post at work anymore so I'll have to post at night. I get to go to the Damnit-V today for my new horseless carriage permit, hope the lines aren't too long then it's off to the garage for the emissions test- wish me luck!
