Another Mustang mini-project in the works:

Scored a set of sun visors from a late-model E420 on eBay a couple of years back. Cannibalized the driver's-side visor for the real treat...the HomeLink controls and module.

The plan was to integrate it in the W124, but with that car out of commision, I'm going to do install it in the Mustang instead. Pic thread to follow later, if all goes well.

Figured if the kid parks the car on occasion with the top down, I can reduce the temptation for some passer-by to swipe the garage and gate remotes clipped onto the visor...

I thought for sure you would have installed voice commands by now.

Like Mistress said - hot as heck.

Bailed from work early, had a pleasant chat around the kitchen table with Darling Wife and the preacher friend. Now Darling Wife is taking me on a field trip - won't tell me where....... woot!

I guess I don't really need to mention the temperature here.

Closed on the new home. Dropped off the check and signed the papers. GOOD deal!

Going back to work tomorrow for the first time in 6 months (off due to illness), NOT such a good deal! Supposed to be 107 or so and I work outside. Uggghh! Ah well, if it were easy then they wouldn't call it work now would they?

I figure there will be a lot of late afternoon nap times (I get off at 2:30) and not a whole lot being accomplished on the new crib for the next couple of weeks.

Sigh, "once more, once more, into the breach!"

Stuck in Seattle making the best of it. Missing the family, though.

We picked the right day for this job

Jeez-was it WARM and kinda HOT
We picked the hottest day to put up the largest slide gate we ever installed.
42' slide gate ,7 foot tall 30 ' opening.

Trucking terminal in E.Baltimore - seems one or two of the drivers made off
with a container of NIKE shoes. Management decided to upgrade security
new gate -card in ,card out and 16 decent cameras.

Hah! If their drivers are anything like the drivers I have, that camera pole'll be down in a week, two at most!

John, Darby and family are still out of town for awhile.

I just finished the last flight of many somewhat loooong, boooooring contracted flight services.
(Some of the places folks choose for summer vacation spots….jeeze…)

So now I’ve got the whole place to my self !!
Taking care of the animals is about all I’ve got for responsibilities for the rest of the week and into next.

Think I’ll jump for joy !!
(just for you, Robert)

Cheers, all -
Shelby
