Hows everyone's Wednesday?

Mine's been a bit ridiculous (in a good way) ultimately resulting in me accepting a new job offer!

Congrats Mr. Machine!

Chaos 'round these parts includes getting trained to safely shower 260 pounds of Ed (good gawd I swear I coulda braided his back hair), making lists of stuff we gotta buy/do like NOW since said Ed is getting booted out of rehab tomorrow morning.

Which we just found out last night (was supposed to be next week). Thank you health care decisions via for-profit insurance companies!!!!

I'm buying a car today. Meeting the guy at 4:45pm.

Anyone want to venture a guess what kind ? The model may be more difficult to guess.

its a beautiful day here in river city.

I am teaching a class at the moment but more accurately I would say I am here while the students are beginning to work on their cardboard models on their main project for the semester.

Hump Day or Slump Day? I'm working from home today, . . . sort of, not doing a whole lot. Looking forward to Thanksgiving and Friday off as well. What are you up to today?

To you as well, Dee.

Seems like I've been doing all of the humping myself as of late.

Son#1 has his first freshman basketball game tonight. Should be interesting! The kid has never had to work so hard before. He didn't complain nearly as much when he did cross country this past fall. Other than that, just the usual last minute prepping for the Christmas Eve/Day festivities.

Also, at some point soon, I've got to buy myself something to drive. I've decided it's going to be cheap (done with making payments). Just haven't decided if I want to go with something late model or go pre-'87 and avoid CT emissions and high local property taxes.

Hump days are my days off now its a nice schedule...2 full days on, day off, 2 full days then 2 half days from home. I'm finishing up wiring in my vw for an amp and sub today, hasn't been easy so far (finding a firewall grommet in a new vw is a pita! And removing the battery tray? Intake has to come off!). Swamp if you're interested in a 300e let me know, all the DMV stuff is clear finally!

FIL: "When Armageddon comes it will be in the middle east."

Darling Wife: "Oh?"

FIL: "Well that's where everyone says it will start. And I'm going."

Darling Wife: "To the middle east?"

FIL: "Yes. To Israel."

Darling Wife: "Why?"

FIL: "I'm going to fight for Christ."

Darling Wife: (collapses into fits of giggles to the point of tears- pre coffee)

FIL: "What?"

Darling Wife: "Israel doesn't believe in Christ any more or less than Islamic nations."
