My wife and I are going to our twins' kindergarten class tomorrow morning for a Thanksgiving play. The kids dress up as Pilgrims and Indians, and each have a few lines that they have been rehearsing for a week, like "....they also planted beets, lettuce, potatoes and carrots", and "....the Indian children showed them how to build their houses".

Gonna jump in the car this afternoon and head down to North Carolina for Thanksgiving. This will probably be the last one in my mother's house. Here's hoping that people who normally drive South on I 95 from DC to NC will decide to stay home this year.

I hope everyone else has a happy Thanksgiving and that we can all find plenty to be thankful for in spite of the adversity that may surround many of us presently.

It's a better hump day than most! We're closed tomorrow and an unprecedented Friday and Saturday. With any luck I'll get my new snowplow parts installed and get it functioning again before I actually need it. I've got my 20 year class reunion Friday but will be out of town with family obligations. Maybe the next one. It is amazing how many former classmates have shown up on Facebook in the past couple months.

I spent the day yesterday at the CT Environmental Council annual meeting and tradeshow that I completely forgot about until I woke up at 5 to go for my walk. It was a big "Oh $h!t!" moment.

I going to pick up my new iPhone tonight so I'm pretty antsy. Now that my old Nokia's antenna likes to slide out of its now broken plastic bracket it's really annoying to use.

I know there's a lot of unpleasant news out there but I hope you all are as blessed with family and friends as I am and have a great Thanksgiving!

Exclamation Off to San Francisco (Again!!!) 200 miles away.

I am leaving for San Francisco in a few minutes to have my trusted indie down by the airport, replace the brake pads (Textar) rotors (ATE) and put anti squeal paste on the 560SEC's brakes. Plus weld up the leak in the exhaust and inspect the tie rods and jack pads which may have rotten rubber. Flush the brake fluid and repack the wheel bearings too maybe.

He is a ultra high line used car dealer too that sells Bentleys, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and super highly modded BMWs, Porsches and MBs to the Silicon Valley biotech and internet millionaire crowd from there. www.toplineautomobile.com He works on my poor car cause he used to own two just like it and he knows and likes them.

They promised me a loaner too. Wonder what I will get? I hope not some crappy W126 or a Pathfinder like the last times. heeeeeeeeeeee

I got a date too. I am going to meet her at Stanford University shopping center for gabbing and lunch.

Maybe I should pack the camera for this one.

If I could use it on Sprint, I'd get an I Phone, too. I tried the Instinct, but it did a lot of things, but many of them it did poorly, including being a telephone. I was told that the I Phone will not work on Sprint's network which is different than AT&T's.

an unlocked iPhone will work on any network. First Gen iPhones IIRC are the only generation that will. But those are going for a premium because of that.

I'm holding out for a crackberry

Muwahahahah, I have had 4 iPhones now, and continue to go back to crackberries. They are crack. Once you have had one... Your never going back.

Swampee, enjoy the iphone. The iPod part of it is pretttty nifty. Especially, when you put all 12 seasons of Top Gear on it...

Hehehhe, I am a bit off today.

Thanks to Hogweed, I got a good working heater blower to install in my wagon yesterday. I installed it yesterday in about 5 minutes and it's working great.

I just got back from the grocery store and will start prepping what I can so I can relax a bit tomorrow while the turducken is roasting.

Thanks for asking me to post the "Shaved Sprouts" recipe last year Mistress. I lost it and was able to verify the recipe by checking the thread here on the forum.

Happy hump day all. Just woke up, and am going turkey day shopping.

Then, back to bed.

Actually, I gotta help prep everything for tomorrow today.
