In earthquake country, homes are so mobile that they must be registered and plated as vehicles.

I think late 90's with the ///AMG look, sometime about when Mercedes Benz absorbed the AMG operation into it. Not sure of the exact year.

Too bad you couldn't have bought the house 8 doors down then you could have put SEC under your house #. Either way looks great!

Hey, we can have some downright unpleasant bouts with humidity in the summer and, according to our local meteorologists, wind-chills are our winter nemesis'! And listening to the news reports there's about a 120% chance that we will die from EEE or West Nile virus from the mosquitos and Lyme disease from ticks is as sure a thing as the sun rising.

BTW, the danger of last hard frost hasn't passed here in southern New England yet. Don't put out those tender plants yet and other than planting peas you're taking your chances this time of year! These are trying times I tell ya'!

Heck, we don't need no stinking 2" of snow.
We can get dis-functional on the Beltway with 1/2" of the dreaded white stuff.

Heck, I get a chuckle or five when I hear they're shutting our schools down for the day at the mere FORECAST of several inches of snow that invariably pass to the north or south or don't come until several hours later. I'm ashamed to admit most southern New Englanders are nowhere near as hardy as our northern neighbors. I'd imagine folks from VT, NH and ME really get a chuckle out of the rest of us south of the snow belt.

A hint of snow will send people in their massive 4WD HUMMERS to the store to stock up on hundreds worth of food. I guess when we get 3 inch's their massive 4WD tough go anywhere SUV's can't go out. So they sit at home eating food until it passes.

The thing that gets me is that if we really did get a foot or two of snow it'd take what, a day to clear the roads? People don't have enough food kicking around to make it a day, day and a half, in their pantries?

Maybe they're all like me, the always just happen to need something when it snows.
