Pure nonsense. The biggest benefit is being able to use more than 3gb of RAM.

I've got 4.0 gigs of Ram, with 3.68 usable (not sure what that means). It has the i3, M330 processor. Seems pretty fast, not bad. I hear the i7 is a screamer. Might look at an i5 oneday.

Haven't been able to find a 32 bit Explorer on this computer, hanging around, waiting to be put into the game. My search continues.

You're not going to be able to modify your IE to 32 bit.

Part of your RAM is probably being allocated to your video card (that's why you see 3.68 useable). It's not a problem.

Try Opera or Chrome. I prefer Opera but most prefer Chrome.. both are quite fast but I prefer Opera's UI.

Im not quite sure what your problem is. Flash is definitely supported by 64 bit OS and IE. Why dont you tell us the exact error message you are getting.

I dunno, I've been seeing several places on the web that Flash doesn't work with 64 bit.

Here are my messages when I try to get a Youtube vid to play:

You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video.
Download it from Adobe.

So I click on the download line above and get a list of instructions to follow, which don't accurately describe what I encounter, but close, I follow those, it appears to download, but then it still won't work.

No wait, it is working now. (?!) This is weird, cause early on I could get vids to play about half the time and then started getting the 'no can do' messages all the time. I would also encounter messages explicitly stating that Flash would not work with 64 bit and that I should install a 32 bit browser. I was thinking that eventually they'd fix it, and perhaps it has been fixed recently, who knows.

As always, a good majority of this stuff is a mystery to me. I can't put a wrench on those electron transmitters and fix 'em, so I'm at the mercy of the great beyond.

But thanks for the help, maybe things are about to look up.
