True but we need to learn that you can't simply be safe because you forget what an enemy is capable of. You might not be able to predict the future perfectly but what you seem to be saying is basically have an Arcade Game Mentality. Each quarter or day resets everything back to zero.

As soon as you stop your being silly. Look at the history of mankind. We have found ingenious ways to hurt and kill each other. Simply because a guidance system MIGHT have a limited shelf life doesn't mean a whole lot.

Go look at your own country. Ask them why they had their witch hunts on everything communist, for instance if you want to talk about living in the past and predicting the future.

I think it would have been better if he were captured like Sadaam, shown how hated much he is hated by his people, then hanged for his crimes.

He does look frightened, doesn't he? Imagine what's going through his mind as his own twisted belief that he's loved by his people and will prevail has just faced reality.

Its amazing how well significant moments in history are documented with today's technology. We get right up close and personal at the moment of victory like we're standing right there with them.

It also shows a bit of things to come with the next regime. Seems pretty disorganized, fragmented, and chaotic. No clear leadership to tell what they should do with him now that he's captured. Now that they've won, are they going to go back to being peaceful nation builders like our founding fathers?

Hopefully there are more people in the States that take this view, than....the others.

Read somewhere that some of the pols (politicians) want an investigation into his death. Something about war crimes. I would rather not see my tax dollars spent on an investigation into his death.
