Battery powered pallet jack if you are on concrete; if not, an ATV.

I was also thinking ATV - but what are the clutches like? Could they take the punishment? I was also thinking along the lines of a mini land rover with those low ratio gear boxes but I haven't come across one yet...

An old wheel horse garden tractor fitted with a dolly/jack on front that would pick up the car by the diff or front cross member so you could turn it with the garden tractor without turning the steering wheel.

My indie has an old airport tug that they use to move dead vehicles around. It must be from the thirties or forties. Heavy but small and geared really low with the whole front end covered with heavy plate.

It looks ugly but works like a charm.

Nice ideas but if you're going that big wouldn't you want a Unimog with a centrifugal clutch? I know I would!

THE WINNER! I bought one from a store which needed a smaller one because the Xerox machines it loaded from the warehouse to trucks have pallets which are much smaller.

125.00 delivered. 1972 vintage but well maintained by a guy whose real first name is Dusty!

It has 16 batteries, just all replaced. Top speed of 12 mph, we used it to joy ride in the empty portion of the warehouse.

Gone are the days there when there were two such pallet jacks, and there was racing during lunch hour!

When I get it to my place, I will have to add the three-pointed star!
