So is it safe to take this comment as meaning that as a military officer you would NOT protect your troops?

BTW did I say anything about manhood? What I DID imply was that he is a man with principles and will stick by those principles. That alone separates him from 99% of the people in Washington.

I'm glad you understand about an officer protecting his men. Wish we could find that kind of principle from our current Commander in Chief.

I still can't find the word manhood in that post.

How is a captured soldier a threat that is worthy of an execution without trial?
