Just two years ago, my wife Vickie was on her death bed with chronic liver disease. The Doctors gave her less than a year to live. You've both got some presenting of proof to do when it comes to credibility......as does anyone that makes claims about the fictional subjects presented on this thread's title line.

Prove it, or disprove anything one way or the other, RE: thread's subject matter, and I'll be satisfied. Until then - it's ALL fiction to me.

If someone makes the claim something exists, let them prove it. I thought that was the method usually used. Or is it so that you claim what you want and I have to disprove it?

I understand if you read the Koran there is nothing more violent there than in the old testament or perhaps revelations.

Pardon the expression, but beats the hell out of me. I don't think I've spent more than a couple hours of my 43 years contemplating the existence or lack of a god.

Provide proof that an amputee regrew a limb through prayer and I'll pay attention. If Jesus can heal terminal liver disease he can certainly give a war hero a new right arm. Any other healings are coincidence, good fortune. Unless god somehow hates amputees. Who knows?

The question shouldn't be "Do you believe in Heaven or Hell", it should be "Do you have faith in spiritual being greater than you?"

Those that put their faith in science alone are following science as a religion. Science has given us the big bang theory, yet it hasn't been proven. Science has given us many theories that haven't been proven, yet are taught in public schools. That basis alone is enough to warrant bringing a mandatory course into the public schools that teach religious beliefs and their backgrounds and origins.
