That would be "quid pro quo". While it might possibly be legal (though still frowned upon I'm sure) in certain counties in Nevada, I don't think it would fly in NC.

Drug use is not all victimless crime as hard core librarians want to have it. The world of coke and heroin has some weird shyte mixed in. I've gotten to know a young lady in the last year, probably should avoid her like the plague but she's quite bright and likable in many regards - the problem is she has given her life over to heroin. You have to witness it up close to believe it.

Not just the cops. Just a the usual posturing until push comes to shove. Probably a failed writer for the Wrestling Federation.

The problem I see with drug use is that while it is your body, someone else would be liable for the tab so it becomes difficult to define what exactly the interest I have in your affair. If your drug use simply let you die quietly, worst case scenario is we send a truck over to cart your carcass to the dump site. However, when I can be liable for your attempted rehab or problems as the drug causes, it puts it into a grey area.

Wow. I wish I could do a thesis like that. Make up a theory, find one incident and tell the instructors "Is that the only instance? You tell me.". Usually, when one makes a point, one shows ample proof that the accusation is true. In your case, all you need is some vague possibility and you declare "Well, there you see. Proof positive that......"

Those live-in drug treatment programs do NOT have an unlimited supply of beds waiting.

My bad. I forgot the 2012 Can Am Spyder. I guess when you have no kids and you can buy your toys used and when the other party needs to sell, you can afford more. Mostly, no kids. I wasn't chomping at the bit and wife wasn't interested so we put our money towards ourselves.

The police will lean on her for names of other people connected. People connected know this and are scared as hell right now. Someone might help with legal fees to protect themselves if they think they can shut her up.

The fact that she could get her hands on heroin shows she is in a really bad place in her life. If she does not change her people, her place and the way she spends her time, she is probably a lost cause.

Quality control in street drugs is non existent. Drug companies have competitive products with quality control. People with prescriptions sell the stuff for peanuts.

You want the Lawyer who plays golf with the DA and Judges.

Lori is a prostitute/addict and needs to get an appreciation for life, quick. I am not just being judgemental. We are all a bunch of "junkys", humans. We all have to deal with it.

What a world. ****.

So, if money is the hang up, maybe it's time to run the numbers...
Does the caring for the addicts cost as much as the entire legal system (cops, lawyers, judges, prisons, guards, parole officers.....)
