Why not? Who wouldn't want the government doing the work that parents and their churches doing what they should be doing? Couple that with the degree of difficulty every time those pesky scientists uncover things that seemingly refute the teachings.

If its not for everyone its more of a disagreement than arguing, arguing is when your right and everybodies wrong giving you a feeling of arguing ,for arguments sake. In the dark ages I believe the argument was won by ,well those were the dark ages.

In post #30 of this thread I made reference to the religious textbook editors as 'Crazies'. This was an error, and I regret it.
I should have used the correct term of 'ignorant zealots'. It was not my intention to lump truly crazy people in with this crowd, and to all the crazy people out there I can only ask for your forgiveness. The majority of these folks hail from an area in Texas long known for this sort of thinking. The Tyler/Longview area is made up of a population of people not known for their higher educational values but for their massive oil wealth. Many of them confuse having money with having the ability to run the lives of others and they take to the task willingly. To fully understand the thinking of the area one needs only to look to their member of the US House, the Hon. L. Gohmert. |
