This. the feds didn't avoid ANYTHING. Since burning 13 children to a crisp at WACO and shooting a 14 year old boy in the back at Ruby Ridge, they have suddenly become aware that violence may not be their best option.

the right to be left alone and enjoy peace and happiness. They are like the NYC mafia going to restaurant and dry cleaner owners and offering them a deal they cannot refuse; they want to be paid for providing 'protection'.

As a matter of fact.... They are. That is why they join groups that are set-up along their ways of thinking, have weapons practice together, etc.

When you have been dealing with these people for fifty or more years please feel free to discuss how much they are alike. I have known a great many of these people and there is not a dimes worth of difference between any of them.

Do you know any of them that don't think this way? The highest calling is to be a martyr for the 'cause'. Why do you think they seem to find a way to confront the police so often?

Your problem with this is that you don't understand the people you are trying to talk about. You consider them to be normal when they are in fact delusional. When you look at it from their point of view the last thing they want to be is different from each other. They are a solid group, not individuals, and in their world there is no room for individual thought.

Say..... Did you give any thought to addressing what I was commenting on? Rush has been going on about this very thing for twenty-five years and Conservatives love him. Bundy says what they all think and everyone runs for cover.

But they are not asking for the right to be left alone. They are defying a court order and telling the Feds to come and get them. They have said they do not want peace, so that's not it either.

They just want the right to steal from the US government. And that makes them Conservative Heros?
