At least the more polite and considerate crazies can...

That being said I don't see the racism either. The agent wanted to be with his/her clients it appears. As said unless it was a open house I don't believe it's normal practice to have strangers enter a house for sale with an agent who is about to show the house. You need your own agent or you need an appointment with the owner.
The 'BOLD' above is absolutely correct.

"Violence is quite a problem in the field. The real estate and rental and leasing occupation has seen an average of 75 deaths a year from 2003 to 2009, according to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics. Hawkins is seeing more agents carrying pepper spray, guns and Taser guns as safety measures." Did you actually notice what I wrote?

In that instance, one might be able to hear racism?

One might also be able to hear something else.

I'm not a black man in Texas, and there is still plenty of racism there and all over this country, so I'm deferring to the OP as he was there, heard the inflection, watched the body language, etc.

But if the "YOU" was the emphasis, then the might implies; if not, less likely. That's all my point was.

Again, emphasis on the "might"...

Can't Know,

To be totally complete, I must make an amendment, actually an addition to what the agent said. With time to recollect all of what the agent said to me, I remember the second phrase was slightly different than the first phase.

Thusly:

The agent saw me and said; "I'm not comfortable showing you the property." -This was the first phrase.

Next, the agent said this; "I am not comfortable with you in the property." -This was the second phrase said to me before the door was shut on me.

I was a distance of about 12 to 13 feet, when the agent said these things very clearly to me. I was not crowding, or in any way threatening the agent's 'space'. Remember, I have witnesses to the event.

If you want the property, then have another agent show it to you. Then when you buy it, tell the selling agent:

"I wasn't comfortable paying you full commission, so you'll have to split with my agent." The little k**va might get the message.

Do you need Al Sharpton's office number? It's (212) 690-3070. Have the good taste to not call collect.

Thanks.....
How did they do that? By making you show up and possibly looking like a shill?

Much like Jeffrey Dahlmer?

I wouldn't throw caution to the wind either.

It could mean anything. It could mean "I think you are a jerk and I don't want to work with you.".

What would the message be? That they have to kiss the ass of every clown that barges in? Do YOU? How much would YOU kiss my ass if I walked into your office demanding your attention whether you have a project in play or not? IIRC, you have always tossed out the idea that you don't have to put up with customers that pose too much problems. Why would you object to someone else doing the same? Or does it only apply to you.

Why would you even call her a koorva? That makes no sense. You're calling her a "whore" because she's doing her job?

So you are saying YOU would put up with someone who barged in on you and kiss their ass just to POSSIBLY earn a few bucks more commission, assuming he can actually pull the trigger? Seriously?
