Windows 7 recovery disc

Edit: resolved. It was a corrupted file. We may have lost a few pics. The one on the bottom when it errored was a pic at the end of our list.
I think we got almost everything...

So back to protools.

Lol. Nightmare. Now when doing the HP recovery for the files it gets to 100%. Then says

"Hp recovery manager failed. Error code = ffffff15.

Googling is bulling up BS.

The files seem to be here.

I have to say. My computer is backed up with an ordinary method. We had to use the recovery partition and some weird hp back up system that puts the files to a strange format.

I hate that part of pc. All the stuff to make it easier which is actually more complicated.

The idea is it will drop everything back where it was. But if it has one fragmented file it won't. Fortunately it's stored on the hard drive in ordinary formats.

Yeah protools problems. Saying not a valid win 32 application.

Called his brothers lady. He gets in at 3 am tonight. They should be able to work this out.

Few. I'm safe. Makes me want to go through mine. Thanks for the tips and recommendations.

Run one of the many check disk routines on the ultimate boot disc

Ultimate Boot CD Freeware - Trusted download and reviews from SnapFiles

(seeing as you're windows based)

Windows 7 recovery disc

I'll check that out next time. Thanks!

Yeah he has to for protools. A lot of times the guys are in different places but can play together through software and Internet.

Same with me. The office uses windows so I have to interface.

I use a Mac preferably. I'm not too big into computers so I never got into Linux. And working with other people I just can't. I understand the freeware concept. But free market always wins.

Look at photoshop vs the gimp.
