Lawyer/Divorce Problem- Looking for Suggestions?

Hello,

I appreciate your time, I've not ever posted in here, but I figured there are a ton of smart folks here, so why not?

I am looking for ideas; I was divorced a couple of years back but unfortunately it isn't really final. I contracted a HS friend to be my lawyer, and while he certainly knows the law and made me an excellent deal with me over the cost, he has left me high-n-dry on winding this thing up. The matter has gone before the judge, and the finances have been decided, but it is really up to the lawyers to decide on what the judges decision looks like, And See That Through. Question- What should I do to wind this up, short of doing my own filing for contempt in court which is 800 miles away now? I have called, emailed, and texted my lawyer, begged, pleaded, been firm, been soft, and nothing has happened. The judge ruled in November 2013, but here we still are... I am not anxious to contact the Ex and ask for her help to push HER lawyer to finish this up, but I may have to; women have a stronger talent at being 'squeaky-wheels' than men do (no offense ladies). I am open to any idea, I NEED TO GET THIS DONE! Thanks for your help.
