It's a solid engine. Since your's is in a truck, it won't ever be a powerhouse without proper tune and gearing. What gearing is the old girl?




I had the same happen to my 440 Chrysler. Ended up drilling a hole in the cap and ported in a vacuum line to force vent it. Worked for years.
