They saw Kirk's "subtle" ways of expressing his views and decided it wasn't worth their efforts
Amazing the effect an iron fist has on people, eh?:p

Retreat is advisable when ammo runs low.

Usually when someone is confrontational a lot they usually back off when someone gives them a taste of their own medicine.

You also really can't argue with one simple fact...The war was/is wrong! Also everything else that drips from it stinks to high heaven, no amount of sugar coating will help. You can't defend the indefensible.
I support the troops and it breaks my heart to see them out there on some Daddy boys whim.

hey rick,

my buddy, mr porsche, has the quattro coupe that was the rally bruiser (you know, the gal driver) about the same vintage as your coupes. im thinking maybe 84? the gold/bronze paint.

he says its rare and will be valuable. is he right?

he also has a couple of 914-6's and more than a few of the limited edition 914's. he has one built with a MONSTER 911 engine that he used to vintage race that i would like to snag one day.

Maybe not low ammo, just decided it's an endless debate, no one was being convinced either way, so what's the use. Silence is not a sign of defeat, my friend. Some people just know when it's a waste of time and effort.

If it what's called the "UrQuatro", yes they're becoming valuable. Very few were made, and even fewer are still around. One showed up at the Northwest Audi meet a few weeks ago in Seattle and drew quite a crowd. Legendary cars

I said "retreat" not "defeat". My time and effort isn't wasted. I have a fan base. Let me know if you want the club address.

LOL! Not hardly. There are just some things you and I will never agree on. Politics are definately out. And manners of expressing those politics are out too.
But we've been down this path before. I won't beat a dead horse.:p

ThrillBilly,

Seems you've suffered a Freudian slip here, and also see a "Repo" under that Libertarian veneer. Better watch out though, as this is a sensitive issue. Jim

It has been suggested I move from the United States to a country more accepting of my views. Looking at the latest poll numbers, I think you guys are the ones who are going to need a U-haul. I've got that address too, if you need it.

You're beating that horse again, Kirk. It's dead. Let it RIP.

I'll print that and put it with my copy of "Treason", my new manual on acceptable discourse.

Those who critisize their neighbors grass should take a look at their own lawn first.
