OM 602 W124 1991 300d oil filter location where is it!!!

Yes, I searched for 30 minutes on the DIY and Tech areas, plus google. No one has said! I know it's a canister, but how many bolts, next to what, approached from above or below, I really feel...

Don't forget about weight!

The longer wheelbase 450sel body weighs significantly more than the W116 short wheelbase 300sd body, plus the 300sd had an aluminum hood and trunk. That puppy will be a dog once converted, no get up...

Drive both a W123 and W124, then decide

The W123 with a OM617 is much simpler, if a bit crude by modern standards, while the W124/OM603 is more polished, but perhaps too complicated for many. . .

Depends on your goal. . . I drive a 91...

I noticed the dealer was much less on replacement keys ($16), wiper blade ($19) and competitive on floor mats ($90? I forget), and exponentially higher on a headlight rim and tun signal lens. The...

Even abused 91 leather holds up well

My 1991 124 300D was obtained by trading a 6.9 that needed work to it's prior owner. Having never driven the W124, I fell in love with it. The prior owners had never cleaned the leather seats in...

1 key was $16.95 at dealer

Just remember to bring the title or proof of ownership they accept. The key is ordered from your VIN#, they do not copy the key. Mine was for a 91 300D:)
