K - Jet refers to the later model cars with the mechanical fuel injection. You can tell the difference by seeing if you have pipes (k-jet) or wires (d-jet) going to the fuel injectors.

Restart of Stored 450SL

Any tips on restarting a stored 450SL (1974)? I lubed the cyls from the top and soaked it for about 5 days.... then changed the oil and cranked with no plugs for 5 - 8 seconds until fuel pressure...

Fuel In Tank

Can't open the D*&mn fuel door with no vacuum pressure and the trunk lock key is missing!!

I'm expecting the answer is "no", no fuel now or if so, because of the angle I've got the car sitting it...
