Unbolt the torsion bars from the wheel side mounts.

Use a needle nose vise-grip or stiff wire hook to pull out the retaining clip.

No, there is no difference in the noise level. I'm not sure if the turbo is making a difference or not at lower rpms. I have noticed that of late the power seems to have lessened.
