There should be metal tubing from the driver side...

There should be metal tubing from the driver side of the engine bay back to the tank. If you are leaking between, look for damaged tubing.

The POP pressure on the old nozzles was ~1650 psi...

The POP pressure on the old nozzles was ~1650 psi (113.8 bar). The new ones tested out at about 1720 psi +/- 20 psi (118.6 bar). The spec is 115 bar +8, so I think I'm OK?

1995 E300D OM606 engine sound OK after rebuild injectors?

I just replaced the injector nozzles with Bosch. Replaced the glow plugs too. Engine starts immediately and idles a little rough initially but smooths out after warmed up. But the engine is louder...

One of the best things you can do before buying...

One of the best things you can do before buying is check the compression. Having just replaced the injector nozzles, this is not an easy thing to do due to the intake manifold.
