Seeing as Mr. Price feels as though he has some personal vendetta against me I'll interject my half. I have never done any work for Mr. Price; he was incapable of keeping appointments to meet me to advise him on as much. He did eventually purchase some parts, but never answered my email when i wrote asking for his address. Perhaps if Mr. Price had actually experienced dealing w/ me and my service facility (yes, I do run it from my 2 car garage in Post Oglethorpe, how else would I be able to charge 45 an hour and survive??) he could comment. As it stands, he has not, in which case to comment as he has is just plain daft.

I have a long list of very satisfied customers, if anyone would like references I'll be glad to pass along numbers; all the people who Actually dealt w/ me always offer their services in that regard.

Best,
Jonathan

Hello,

The good news is that Donnie is going to be working at MBS motors on pleasant hill in Duluth. The number is (770) 623-8280.

I'm really going to miss these guys. The best repair shop I've ever been too. I wonder if I'll ever have this rare experience again. I shudder every time I take my mercs to other repair shops for oil changes or anything else.

These guys were a major reason why I kept my mercs since the maintenance was fairly priced and the performance of the cars never weakened. I'm gonna sell my mercs now, I don't really drive them much anyway. Three kids is too much too fit into anything, but a truck or minivan i.e Escalade e.t.c.

Unhappy Sorry to see you guys go.

That is terrible news. I had to sell my business because of a decline in customers who got unemployed due to Enron/Dynegy/Arthur Anderson monkey-in-the-BUSH business. My income level dropped 40% within 6 months.

I know what it feels like to lose doing something you love. I wish you guys the best and know you will come out on top.

The site isn't going anywhere.

The owners of this website also owned a Mercedes Benz service and repair facility called MB Autowerks. The shop closed down.

Question Comments on these shops in Atlanta?

As I recently purchased a great W116, I will need an Independent shop in Atlanta, eventually. Vol-Repair II and German Auto Sales and Service are near my home. Does anyone have experience dealing with either or both of them? If so, what is your take on them?

good repair shops in Athens, GA?

Our local Mercedes dealer has forbidden his shop to work on "older" cars. Mine are '87 and '89. Whassup with that?!

Anyway, any advice would be welcome. Atlanta is not the most convenient drive for minor repairs.

And what happened to MB Autowerks?

Jimmy

"thats a crazy"

1.Even though all MB dealers are independant businessmen ...

If you are positive there are no "personality conflict" issues,I would call
Mercedes @ 1-800-222-0100 and politely ask "What in the Hell's going
on?"

They have always been happy to relieve me of any excessive funds I
happened to be burdened with.(the Dealership in Athens)

2. MBAutowerks has unfortunately closed .

Cool. There's no way I could have offended the staff. I'm affable.

Now I feel picked upon.

Good shops in Atlanta

Vol Repair in Atlanta is a very good shop to go to. My brother has taken his 82 300sd there to have some repairs done. H brought it in to have the vacum shutoff valve replaced. They actually diagnosed the problem and found that the valve was working fine, he just had a small vacum leak in one of the hoses. They replaced the hose and problem solved. Saved him alot of money.

Another good place to go to is a place called The Benz Store on Bufor Highway in Chamblee. The guy who owns the place is a wealth of information. He sells parts for people to DIY. He also has a repair shop in back, and does very good work.
