Need to get 107 engine number HELP!!

The engine number on single cam V8s is behind the drivers side head (on the block). This makes it about six to seven inches below the top of the valve cover. It is stamped into a flat surface that extends rearward past the head.

If you stick your head in there with a little light it will be apparent straight down.
