Where is WOT Switch
Can somebody tell me where is WOT Switch, is it different than the kickdown switch??
Is the throttle doing mechinical function (like in carburator cars) or doing electrical, if so then it doesn't matter how much do you open the throttle, this is ECU who will decide to send the amount fuel to the cylenders based on RPM and other things(that i don't know) 230E 89 Last edited by shams13; 12-12-2004 at 07:16 AM. |

I would think the kickdown switch would prompt a transmission downshift to maximize the effect of all that extra fuel.

The WOT is on the side of the Throttle Body. It tells the CIS-E system to give enrichment via the EHA. The kickdown switch operates the tranny kickdown only and does not go to the CIS-E to control enrichment.
