124 Climate Control Wheel

Is it possible to buy this and the pin separately from the whole unit?

I am having trouble finding it on my parts lists.

I dont know if they can be bought seperatly. However, I do have a "dead" unit that has all the parts. Only thing is the wheel is graduated in celcius rather than farenhiet. What is wrong with yours?

I am buying a car where the "wheel" has been pushed in... according to the manual, the wheel can be removed. What I don't know is... is some of the plastic stressed or broken where the pin goes through the wheel.

I am looking at another unit on ebay...but I don't know if it's DOA or not. The parts may do me good, if you are looking to get rid of it.

I bought the unit I have as a package of two units. Reason was I was missing some buttons and that was the only way I found to get any. I paid $40.00 for the two units and neither has good electronics but all the mechanical parts are ok. Since I got all I needed from one unit the other is ready for a new home. If you want it, I can let you have it for $20 (and shipping). It is light so should not cost too much for UPS land. My model is a 90 300E, 124 chassis.

I just looked at the unit on E-Bay. If you can get it for less than $20.00 go for it. It probably has good mechanical parts. Although, It is also in Celcius. The graduations are on a tape that you may be able to peel away and glue to the wheel.
