Cam Timing
On my 1992 300SE I am about to reinstall the head which has received a valve job. On the intake cam (24-valve DODC inline 6) there is a spring loaded cam chain sprocket. I can set to cams using the 4mm pin but when putting the timing chain on, what is the procedure for setting the intake cam gear? Is it supposed to be tension loaded? If so, how much?
Thanks Tim |
