1991 300ce cold start problem
I have a 1991 300CE and for the past while the car has been having difficulty starting in the morning or when i leave it for a couple of hours and then return. The car requires 3-4 cranks to start and when it does start i have to give it some gas and it starts out very groggy and then goes right to normal. I have read some posts about over voltage protection relays and cold start valves but have not gotten much from them. I checked the 10 amp fuse on the over voltage protection relay and it was fine. I do not know where the cold start valve is on the car to check it. Wondering if anyone could shed some light on the subject.

I believe the Cold start injector either works or not. If it will start for you, my guess its ok.
Look for split rubber vac lines. My 300SE started like WS... whale ship, and it was old vac lines |
