the motor in my 240D blew timing chain during shutdown.4-speed manual. car otherwise in very good shape. now I'm trying to figure out the economics of the situation. saw a for sale 300d 1985 automatic with body damage but motor sounded good today. I wonder if that stronger motor would economically sensibly go into my car?
