1990 300SL - This all started with the rapidly flashing dash lights problem when I turned on the left turn signal. I removed the combination relay (also called the Hazard Light relay) part # 129-820-10-26 and plugged it back in and now I don't have the flashing dash lights but the left turn signal has stopped working completely. Right turn works great - checked the left turn bulbs - all good. Also put in a new fuse for the turn signals. I would like to do some diagnostics on this before I buy a combination relay because they are spendy. I have read several other posts on this and one was solved by a new ignition switch and another with a new switch (I can't find it again). Getting 13.8/9 volts at the fuse box with the engine running.
Also, when I remove the combination relay I broke the plastic piece that holds the female pins in the large socket. This make the job of plugging it back together a REAL PAIN! If anyone knows if I can get the plastic piece separately, I'd like to know. Thanks in advance for your help and advice. Craig
