420 sel slight hesitation/fuel filter
I have a 90 420sel with 141k on it. I bought the car with 100k and have never replaced the fuel filter since I have owned the car. Recently, I have noticed a slight hesitation under easy acceleration or cruising at low speeds with slight acceleration. I at one time thought it was more of a miss, but within not too many miles ago, replaced the plugs and wires. I have also thought I might have a bad injector. It seems like my fuel mileage has gone down slightly and the problem of hesitation has gotten worse. Considering the mileage now and mileage range that I have owned the car without a fuel filter change, is it possible that a new filter would resolve my problem? Any thoughts or suggestions? Scott
