Front Rotor removal from 300 SEL

I have removed the front calipers, and the 5mm.nut and bearing from the hub,but when I pull the wheel outward,it moves a few inches and doesn't want to go any further. It feels like a seal or something may be interfering on the back side, but I can't see whats holding it up,and I don't want to use excessive force and possibly break something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's not much to break, other than the seal and they are cheap. Try grabbing the rotor with both hands and twisting it while pulling it off. The inner bearing must be binding slightly on the spindle.
