Wheeeeeeooooooooo!!!!!!! Wish they had been American gauges, but that would be BIG trouble getting caught going that fast in the states. Probably take your license AND your car.

Look at the odo's. I can't think of another make where you would think about going well over 150mph with over 300k kilometers on the clock.

Are some of these pics a testament to the road stability of the MB in high-speed conditions!??? Notice that they are taken from the driver's vantage point!! (one hand on the wheel, one eye on the road, the other eye and hand on the camera?)

If your math is a little fuzzy...

Here is a link that will convert the km/h to mph.

http://www.webmath.com/k8metric.html

Truly amazing with some of the high mileage cars!

Actually, I think some of these cars could outrun the ordinary police chopper. Radio of course is another story. There aren't many places around where I live where I would care to try triple the double nickel or better. Too much traffic and believe me, those cars come up fast when you have a closing speed over 60 mph. And they have no concept of staying out of your way.

Don't think I could do that to my SDL - it would be like having your grandmother be in a sack race with you. - something is going to break
