Shouldn't a fuel pump just twist right off?

560sl.

Been wrenching on fuel pump #1 for a few minutes, doesn't budge. Sprayed it with PB Blaster and will go at it again in a little while. I doesn't look like it should be tricky to get off. Any suggestions?

JB
