'94 C280 tranny shifting question...

Hi All,

My car's shift point from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th seems to be at high rpms. Is this normal or am I low in fluid. I tried checking the fluid both in Park and in Drive but unable really to read the dipstick. It is somehow discolored and the fluid is still clear... Please advise...

Thanks...

Sounds like your Bowden cable needs adjusting. Do a search for "bowden". Lots of info.
