I think removing a battery cable will reset all the codes except the SRS codes. Be sure you have your radio codes and know how to initialize your express window function.

I would worry about the CAN code from ASR to EA/CC/ISC and the Air mass meter codes. The CAN code could just be a stored code. Only current codes will effect running. See if the codes reset instantly and it would definitely help to build a impulse counting and erasing tool.
