tuk sound on turn
I hear a tuk sound from the front right side everytime I turn to right at 30-40mph. I had my mb technician change the idler arm bush, tie-rod, and draggling arm but the tuk sound is still coming.
Can somebody suspect where exactly is it coming from and how to get rid of it. W124 230E 89. |

Can be collapsed motor mount.
Can be heater fan contacting the box it's in.

I had a similar sound and it was from a bad lower A-arm bushing. Happened to me during turning and backing up while turning. Easy to check out. Good luck

The A-arm bushing is on the suspension while the idler arm bushing is for steering.
Mine does a "tuk" sound when I brake but since my front suspension (W123) needs some fixing on Wednesday I will just let the mechanic fix it and if it still is there then it's something else. A rattling sound could be the ball joint, as in a "tuk" when you brake. A creaking sound is rubber bushings.
