W140-How to reset seat memory
I am having problems with the seat memory on the driver's side. When I push the memory button, everything goes to where it is supposed to be except the forward-backward adjustment. It will get close but is off. I can then push the button and it moves the seat fractionally each push until after about 10 pushes, it is in the correct place. I thought if there was someway to reset the seat it might work right. Any ideas??

Don't know about your model, but...
in my 98' CLK 320 all that is necessary is to unplug the seat control modules and plug them back in to reset the memory. (there is 1 for each seat)

I had a similar problem with the power adjustments on the passenger's seat on my S 500 L. I unplugged and plugged back again the seat cables under it and eveverything went back to normal.
