The microswitch that determines when sunroof is raised is not working and the motor keeps trying to raise roof further than it should. This is the part that I am waiting on from Germany. I wish that I had take pictures during disassembly, however I found the MB DVD to be very helpful with the little video "how to" section.

Did you try re-syncronizing the sunroof motor? With the sunroof motor out and the sunroof closed push the switch to close the sunroof and the switch to lower the sunroof, hold the switch until the motor stops. Re-install the sunroof motor and it shoud be syncronized.
I would also recommend installing the updated cable access plates which are held on with 2 screws instead on 1 screw.
The information I found said not to lube the sunroof tracks since there are nylon runners which rides on the track.
