WHERE WOULD I PURCHASE A SET OF AXXIS FRONT BRAKE PADS FOR MY 1990 300CE? DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE ROTORS WHEN I REPLACE THE PADS?

Dannie:

You can call the folks at Brake Parts Warehouse at 1-888-428-7278 and they can probably fix you up (I got Axxis pads for our 92 300E there), assuming the folks sponsoring this web site don't offer them.

As far as changing the rotors, it is usually not necessary. However, the manufacturer does specify a minimum thickness of the rotor; I don't have that number for you, but you should find out what that thickness is and measure carefully.

Hope this helps,

Bill
