Greetings,
I removed the head and there is a ton of carbon buildup on the valves, heads and pistons. There is also excessive wear on the cam and a couple of the rockers. I will replace the necessary parts. Question for today is how do I remove the valve springs. I have a spring compressor and I got it on and tightened the springs up so there was play in them but I couldn't get it off the top of the valve. It wouldn't slide down to release the split keepers. Any suggestions are appreciated. This project is going well with the help of you guys. (knock on wood) Thanks, Kyle
