I have a US spec 91 300SE. Should a light come on on the knob when I engage the fog lights or rear fog? There's an orange button at the center of the knob. I think I remember that the light came on in an older nonUS W123, but I don't remember if it came on with the fog lights or rear fog.

If it needs a bulb, do I yank out the knob to gain access or is there a release of some sort?
