Is it on the inside? There is an optional "dirty environment" seal that could be installed, it 's an option, in fact there are non in the states only germany right now. Unless you're mud running, it's not needed.

I called up the local parts guy, he will have one at 10AM tomorrow.

Ja!

It looks like it has to be pushed away from the camera for removal. Getting it back in looks difficult, as another part of the carrier is partially obstructing directly above the side it will be pressed back in from.

I found this page, I will try to make a tool similar to what is shown out of sockets and a bolt.

Thanks for the help everybody. All pressed together very nicely, the hardest thing was getting the damn parking brake parts together.

In the spring I will do the other side.

Pressing bearing into carrier:


Install clip and dust shield:


Slice old race and crack with chisel:


Press hub into bearing:


Done:
